CHICAGO — In a powerful ruling Thursday, a federal judge entered an injunction, further restricting the Trump Administration from using unlawful violence against clergy, protestors and the media.
The court ruling Judge Sara Ellis granted a preliminary injunction implementing more lasting use-of- force limitations on federal agents who’ve used tactics like tear gas and pepper balls while enforcing Operation Midway Blitz.
Ellis took more than an hour sharing numerous accounts of federal immigration agents using excessive force she claimed to be without merit and in violation of her previous temporary restraining order.
