Scottsdale police have arrested a 17-year-old male in connection with a shooting that left one person injured outside a large house party in north Scottsdale.

At approximately 12:28 a.m. on October 26, 2025, officers responded to reports of a large gathering at a residence near Bell Road and Thompson Peak Parkway. While officers were en route, dispatchers received information that someone at the party had been shot outside, according to a press release from the Scottsdale Police Department.

When officers arrived, they found a male victim who had been shot in the shoulder. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release.

Police secured the scene and spoke with witnesses, while detectives and crime scene specialists responded.
