OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - After Hurricane Melissa devastated the Island, Chef Albert Barrett is doing his part in helping his family back home in Jamaica rebuild.

Barrett’s family lost nearly everything. One home was leveled, another lost its roof and several cars were severely damaged.

His Bakery, Stella’s Modern Pantry, is contributing to the cause, with the community’s help.

Every lunch special sold and every dessert purchased is helping his family start over.

There’s also a raffle underway, with all proceeds going directly to them for repairs and supplies.
