LEWISTOWN, Ill. (WMBD) -- A former employee of Farmington Central Elementary School pleaded guilty last week to trying to solicit a child for sex.
Kelli Miller, 40, of Farmington, appeared in Fulton County Circuit Court on Oct. 30 where she pleaded guilty to indecent solicitation of a child, a felony that could send her to prison for up to five years. Probation is also an option. The charges allege the youth was between the ages of 13 and 17.
She is set to be back in court on Jan. 15, when she could be sentenced.
She was arrested in August 2024 and at that time, Farmington Central District Superintendent Zac Chatterton said it appeared the conduct took place off school grounds.
