Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux's resignation follows MP Chris d’Entremont's decision to cross the floor to the Liberals.
Edmonton Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux has resigned, in another blow to party leader Pierre Poilievre.
Mr. Jeneroux told The Globe and Mail he is not crossing the floor to the Liberals, but in a statement, did not provide a reason for his resignation.
Earlier this week, Nova Scotia MP Chris d’Entremont did leave the Tories to join the minority Liberals, giving them one more vote in the House of Commons and cited Mr. Poilievre’s leadership style.
Mr. Jeneroux said he hopes to have the opportunity to address the House of Commons one final time, but for now his focus will be on his family.
