MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Wisconsin head football coach Luke Fickell isn’t going anywhere.
Director of Athletics Chris McIntosh stated that Fickell will continue to be with the Badgers into 2026, and the Athletic Department shares in fans’ disappointment with this season.
“We all recognize that we have fallen short of expectations,” McIntosh said. “I am disappointed and frustrated with how our season has gone, just like our players, coaches and fans.”
McIntosh and Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin are aligned in a plan that will get Wisconsin football to playing at the highest level, McIntosh said.
“We will get this right and will not shy away from making any necessary changes,” McIntosh concluded.
