KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Following the Covenant Health Big Kahuna Labor Day festival, organizers presented $55,000 to local charities.
The check presentation took place at the Center for Advanced Medicine next to Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Proceeds benefit the Thompson Cancer Survival Center, the Educator Resource Center and the Boys and Girls Club. Organizers said this year's festival was one of the most successful yet.
