SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah State football team closes out its season on a Saturday as the Tigers look to end the season at 5-5.
Savannah State will be without true freshman quarterback Rashawn Truell. In his place, they will go with redshirt junior Christian Burks, who has four starts this season.
Regardless of who is at quarterback, Head Coach Aaron Kelton wants to send his seniors out with a win. There are eight Graduate students on the team and 23 seniors.
For Coach Kelton, Saturday will be a little emotional because he recruited many of these players.
"I look up and I can see those guys walking in for the first day of camp and not knowing and being real green," Kelton said. "Now, they know the ropes. You know, they tell me, 'I'll coach, naw, we're going to do this. We will
