WHTE PINE, Tenn. (WVLT) - River Valley Health held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday to celebrate the opening of its GetWellNow walk-in clinic in Jefferson County.

The 1,700-square-foot clinic is located at 1903 Maple Street in White Pine and features three exam rooms and an on-site laboratory.

RVH said during an advisory council meeting less than a year ago, staff members said there was a need for walk-in clinical care in the county. After noticing a clinic space in White Pine was for sale, the RVH Board unanimously agreed to purchase the space and expand the GetWellNow clinic.
