Antonio Brown, a former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, has been arrested on attempted murder charges, ABC News reported Thursday.
“Antonio Brown has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals and returned to the United States from Dubai to face attempted murder charges,” the U.S. Marshals Service said in a statement. Advertisement
Law enforcement sources told ABC News that Brown, 36, landed in New Jersey and will be transported to Florida for prosecution.
The charges are in connection with a May shooting outside a celebrity boxing match in Miami.
Brown previously said he was jumped by multiple people who tried to steal his jewelry.
