HOPE/WHITE CITY – Rural Vista senior running back Kole Riedy ran for over 200 yards and scored four touchdowns as the Rural Vista Heat took down Colony-Crest in the opening rounds of 8-Man DII football.

Riedy piled up 216 yards on eight carries, that’s an average of 27 yards per carry, to lead his team to the 51-0 victory. Senior Andrew Calvert had 13 yards with three others accounting for eight yards on the ground. The game ended at halftime. Senior quarterback Koden Sanford had a rushing touchdown while Riedy and senior Celian Van Bemtien returned punts for scores. Riedy’s return went for 73 yards while Van Bemtien returned 47 yards for his score.
