A plan for a 60-bed residential care home and a parade of shops has been approved by councillors. Tiviot Way Investments Ltd applied for outline planning permission for retirement living apartments or residential care accommodation with about 60 bed spaces, described as a "care home/retirement living for people who require extra care and want to remain in the area of Ingleby Barwick ".
The proposal for Little Maltby Farm, Low Lane, High Leven, Yarm also included a convenience food store, parade of four "convenience facilities", outdoor terrace area and up to four self-build residential plots.
