PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The three men charged in connection to the murder of Prestonsburg woman Amber Spradlin appeared in court Thursday for a pretrial conference.
Michael “M.K.” McKinney, Dr. Michael McKinney, and Josh Mullins appeared before Judge Eddy Coleman, who heard two motions in the case.
The Commonwealth recently filed a motion to postpone the upcoming trial currently set to begin Dec. 1, and M.K.’s attorney filed a renewed motion to reduce his $5 million bond, while protesting the idea of pushing the trial date.
Judge Coleman began the hearing, saying he wanted to “cut out some of the cross talk” and hear from both sides about the motions in place.
