MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A Memphis bartender says an angry group of men beat him and crushed his skull after he rear-ended their car on a Midtown street.
The victim, who wanted to remain anonymous, said the car accident happened on October 18 at Idlewild and Union. He said it was raining at the time, and when he got out of his car to exchange insurance information, he was attacked and knocked unconscious.
"They seem pretty mad about it. When they got out of the car, they were yelling at me. I was just dazed and looking at my phone, and there were just like six guys surrounding me, and then one of them hit me, and then I remember going to the ground and then waking up in an ambulance."
