ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - In a matter of hours, the world’s busiest airport is expected to get even busier!
Starting Friday, the Federal Aviation Administration will reduce flights by 10% at 40 major airports, including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The reason is because of the government shutdown that is taking its toll on unpaid airport workers.

Nick McMackins travels weekly for work and is already preparing for the worst by booking multiple flights on Friday back to his home in St. Louis.
“I have a flight on Southwest tomorrow, and I have a flight on Delta. 10% are canceled, so I’m not taking the risk,” McMackins said. “I mean, it’s concern
