Park Synagogue and Kol Halev, both in Pepper Pike, are partnering to host a community discussion on protecting the right to vote. The program, “Voting Rights: The Power of Civic Action,” will take place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Nov. 13 at Park Synagogue at 27500 Shaker Blvd.
Panelists Susan Dean Dyke, founder of Mobilize the Vote NEO, Meredith Hellmer, president of NOVAm, and Michael Halberstam, attorney at The Chandra Law Firm, will address current voting laws, emerging threats to voting access and strategies for effective civic engagement.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 7.
