Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was reportedly denied access to the away end at the Etihad Stadium ahead of the match between Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund. Carragher had been at Anfield on Tuesday night, watching his former team triumph over Real Madrid 1-0 in the Champions League .

Just a day later, Carragher was in Manchester to cover City's home clash with Dortmund in the fourth league phase match of the Champions League for CBS Sports. The 47-year-old was seen walking towards the Etihad with Dortmund fans ahead of Wednesday night's kick-off.

This isn't the first time that Carragher has been spotted socialising with Dortmund fans during a Champions League tie.
