The Left Unity alliance has scripted a victory in the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) polls 2025. Sunil Yadav won the election for General Secretary, securing 1,915 votes. He defeated ABVP’s Rajeshwar Kant Dubey, who received 1,841 votes.
Kizhakoot Gopika Babu from the Left Unity alliance has won the Vice President post with a sweeping 2,966 votes, defeating her closest rival, Tanya Kumari (ABVP), far behind with 1,730 votes.
Aditi Mishra of Left Alliance won the President of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union. Mishra defeated ABVP’s Vikas Patel, who secured 1447 votes.
Danish Ali won the post of Joint Secretary by securing 1991 votes. She defeated ABVP’s Anuj Damara who got 1762 votes.
