COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -After more than 40 years in Colorado Springs, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame are considering relocating to Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Paul Woody, chief marketing officer for the PRCA, confirmed to KKTV that a Wyoming-based economic development group, Cheyenne Leads, reached out months ago with a relocation proposal.
“Cheyenne Leads reached out to us and started the conversation. The longer it progressed, the more it seemed to be a real opportunity that we needed to fully explore,” Woody said.
Woody said the PRCA is always looking at what’s best for its members and the long-term sustainability of the sport.
