Burglars broke into a San Jose home that had been tented for fumigation and ransacked it.

The break-in happened at a unit in a duplex on Willow Glen Way. Surveillance footage showed one of the alleged burglars wearing a gas mask as they ransacked the home.

Victims Brandon and Marisela only shared their first names for fear of retribution.

"I had shoes, like Jordans, I had like 30 pairs," Brandon said. "They took only the expensive ones."

The burglars went room by room, turning over a baby crib, stealing a safe belonging to the victims' friends, and taking off with thousands of dollars in cash that Brandon’s mom was hiding.

"Very bad because they stole everything," Marisela said.
