NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The man accused of going on a shooting spree on Wednesday morning now faces a federal charge.

The US Attorney’s Office charged 24-year-old Marcos Palacios-Amaya with unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon.

Metro Nashville Police say Palacios-Amaya stalked through a Nashville market Thursday before hopping in a red sedan and firing shots indiscriminately out the window while driving past homes in South Nashville.

Palacios-Amaya was captured after a police pursuit that ended near the intersection of Bell Road and Dodson Chapel Road. No injuries were reported during the alleged shooting spree.
