SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — No. 2 Water Valley is headed back to the playoffs with another district title.
The No. 2 Water Valley Wildcats have their sights set on another playoff run after clinching the District 8-1A Division I title last week. For the second straight season, the Wildcats narrowly edged out the Robert Lee Steers to finish atop district standings. Before the postseason begins, however, Water Valley looks to take care of business in week eleven at its home field against Paint Rock. This matchup undoubtedly favors Water Valley, given that the Wildcats have not needed to play a full four-quarter game all season. The Wildcats have managed to produce a mercy rule victory every week. A big reason for the team's success stems from discipline since day one.
