Lake Michigan College is planning a two-day Speaker Series on Global Perspectives for this month as part of International Education Week.

Amy Scrima is chair of the LMC Internationalization Committee and tells us there is a large international student population at the college, thanks to nearby Andrews University and Whirlpool.

The speaker series will kick off on Wednesday, November 19 with “The Benefits of Multiple Perspectives: Lessons from International Experts.”

“ We’re going to have a really great conversation with a couple of international experts on the part that nonverbal language, nonverbal communication plays in our overall communication,” Scrima said.
