MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin FoodShare members will have their full November benefits available overnight, barring any further delays from the Trump Administration, Gov. Tony Evers said Thursday.
A federal judge on Thursday ordered the Trump Administration to release SNAP payments in full to states for November, meaning almost 700,000 Wisconsinites would have their benefits restored.
Evers said his administration has moved to pay those November benefits to FoodShare members immediately. That could change if the Trump Administration chooses to defy the court order, requests the judge's decision be stayed or if there is a vendor processing error.
" It was damn important that we can get this done a nd moved as quickly as we could, and that ’s what we’re doing ," Evers said. " W
