CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- At least one person is dead in Plaza Midwood Thursday night, police say.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officers are investigating a homicide in the 1100 block of Central Avenue, near the intersection with Oakland Avenue.

The nature of the killing(s) is unknown at this time.
