Ghatsila (Jharkhand), Nov 6 (PTI) JMM’s star campaigner and party MLA Kalpana Soren on Thursday highlighted the various welfare schemes launched by Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government.

The Gandey MLA campaigning for JMM nominee for Ghatsila bypoll, Somesh Chandra Soren, at Hat Maidan in Dampara, claimed that the welfare schemes of Hemant Soren have benefitted all sections of the people of the state.

Considering the plight of women, the Hemant Soren government introduced various welfare schemes, such as the Maiya Samman Yojana, to empower half of the state’s population by providing them with Rs 2500 per month, she said.
