COLUMBUS, Ohio - Governor Mike DeWine welcomed in 20 new inductees to the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame Thursday, including honorees from the Valley.

Columbiana County's James "Jim" F. Kerr* and Trumbull County's Kenneth J. David were both honored for their outstanding post-military accomplishments after serving in the U.S. Army.

The hall of fame, hosted by the Ohio Department of Veterans Services (ODVS) honors servicemembers who not only committed themselves to serving their country, but also their community once they returned home. Those inducted alongside Kerr and David ranged from 58 to 90-years-old with hometowns spanning across 12 Ohio counties. Four branches of the military were also represented on stage: Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines.
