SENECA, S.C. (WSPA) -- A Seneca-based restaurant is giving out free groceries to the community.
Arnold's of Seneca, located on Market Street, is usually known for their burgers. On Thursday, however, the owner announced they would be handing out groceries to people who need them.
The decision comes after Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits were delayed due to the ongoing government shutdown.
"No need to be embarrassed or confused," the owner's statement reads. "We are all God's children. Just show up please."
Those interested in obtaining free groceries are advised to ask for a manager and share the ages of those in need of food.
