Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has offered a reaction to the death of his teammate, Marshawn Kneeland.
The Cowboys are still reeling from Kneeland’s passing, with several of them taking to social media to express their devastation after learning the news.
Prescott was not among them but made some heartfelt comments on Thursday night while speaking at a ceremony at his alma mater, Haughton High School in Louisiana.
The ceremony was held in Dak’s honor, but he couldn’t have been happy, given the loss of a teammate under such tragic circumstances.
Kneeland is said to have died as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after leading police on a chase in Dallas.
