(NewsNation) — A 43-year-old woman from central Illinois is accused of having sex with a teenage boy and having his child after chaperoning a middle school dance the youth attended in 2023.

Robyn Polston of Washington has been ordered jailed and faces two counts each of criminal sexual assault of a minor and possession of child pornography, according to NewsNation affiliate WMBD in nearby Peoria. Her next court date is scheduled for Dec. 4.
