TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The University of Arizona Facilities Management team is set to relaunch its apprenticeship program next year and is currently accepting applications.

The four-year program offers more than 2,000 hours of paid on-the-job training and coursework through Pima Community College. Available apprenticeships include HVAC, plumbing, engineering and carpentry.

"We have it all, student recreation, student union, and having the staff to understand what it takes for continuity of operation, the mechanical electrical plumbing utility systems, is critical to keep this campus up and running. It's just critical that we have a trained staff who understand how to do that," Christopher Kopach, Associate Vice President, Facilities Management said.

The deadline to apply is November 9
