(Clemson Athletics) Senior guard Mia Moore (20 points, 10 rebounds) collared her 14th career-double, propelling Clemson (2-0) to a 72-51 win against Mercer (1-1) on Thursday night at Hawkins Arena.
Senior guard Rachael Rose, making her 99th career start, added 16 points while shooting seven of ten from the field. Senior guard Taylor Johnson-Matthews finished with 11 points (3-4 from 3PT), giving the Tigers back-to-back games with three players in double figures. Senior Forward Raven Thompson was the leading assister, dishing out five total. Senior guard/forward Hadley Periman (season-best 10 rebounds) collected her 18th career game of double-figure boards.
