Flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) were severely affected on Friday due to a technical glitch in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system.
The issue forced manual flight clearances and caused widespread delays across airlines.
Sharing information regarding the ATC congestion at the airport, Delhi Airport, in a post on X stated, “Due to a technical issue with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system, flight operations at IGIA are experiencing delays. Our team is actively working with all stakeholders, including DIAL, to resolve the issue at the earliest.”
