Pingry, No. 18 in the NJ.com Top 20, scored four goals in the first half to set the tone and pull away from Morristown-Beard in a 5-0 win in the quarterfinal of the Non-Public, North Jersey tournament in Martinsville.
Pingry ripped 30 shots on goal, forcing Morristown-Beard goalie Mia Rubin to make 22 saves.
Annabelle Ouzounian and Cameron Tarpley led the offense for Pingry, scoring one goal and two assists each. Grace Sameth scored her first goal of the year, while Lolly Ackermann and Caitlyn O’Keefe also added to the scoresheet with a goal each.
Pingry has won 12 games in a row and takes a 17-3-2 record into the semifinal.
Morristown-Beard finishes with an 8-10 record.
