Since he was a teenager in Perth dreaming of becoming a Wallaby, visualisation has always been a powerful tool for Carlo Tizzano.
The flanker once created a detailed PowerPoint presentation for his parents, guiding them through every tortuous step he would have to take to play Test rugby. Tizzano eventually climbed that mountain, and has been looking for new summits to conquer ever since.

As a Wallaby, Tizzano creates a mood board at the start of every year. In 2025, he marked the emblem of the British and Irish Lions on the centre of his board, representing an ambition few would have thought possible just two years ago, when he was turning out for Ealing in England’s second-tier competition.
