EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (KOLO) - On Monday, Dec. 15, Brian “Keifer” Chriss will be sentenced after a South Lake Tahoe jury recently found him guilty of two felony counts of making criminal threats, according to an El Dorado County District Attorney Facebook post on Thursday, Nov. 6.
The incident happened on Saturday, July 12, at the Red Lodge in South Lake Tahoe when an employee told Chriss he was violating the terms of his stay and would need to reduce his belongings or face eviction.
Later that day, Chriss threatened to kill the employee saying he would “slit her throat,” the post said.
Chriss had prior felony strike convictions for assault with a deadly weapon and discharge of a firearm with gross negligence, the post said.
