The No. 2 Sugar-Salem Diggers kicked off their quest for a fourth consecutive state championship Thursday night as they thwarted the No. 7 Snake River Panthers, 55-6.
The Diggers are no strangers to this stage and looked poised at the ICCU Dome in their 4A state quarterfinal as a lethal rushing attack, timely pass plays, and a menacing defense put this one out of reach early.
