New Delhi: Rockstar Games has officially announced another delay of Grand Theft Auto VI, with the release date of the game now being November 2026 instead of May. The studio claimed it requires additional time to make sure that the game is able to attain the polish required by fans of the blockbuster franchise. The much-hyped name will be released over 12 years later than GTA V initially debuted in 2013.

The company posted the new schedule on X, which officially proves that GTA VI will come out on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Rockstar thanked fans, who showed patience and support, to inform them that the wait will be worth it as the players will go back to the big state that is Leonidas and to the current-day Vice City.
