Richard Cabangcla

Richard Cabangcla passed away on Oct. 19, 2025, at home in Alturas, California, at the age of 76. Born on April 9, 1949, in Lihue, Kauai.

He was preceded in passing by his father Teofilo Cabangcla, mother Maria Cabangcla, siblings Priscilla Poller and Robert Cabangcla.

Richard is survived by his siblings Cecelia Gipolan, Estrella Pasion, daughter Chantel Versaw, nieces Shelly Pasion, Era Gipolan, nephews Bradley (Celia) Gipolan, Dondi (Michelle) Gipolan, Dwayne Poller, aunty Kiku Kealoha, cousins May Kealoha and Billy Kealoha.

Services will be private, which will be taken care of by his nephew, Dwayne Poller, who was also his caregiver.
