AIKEN — The four City Council members elected Nov. 4 will be sworn in at the council’s Nov. 24 meeting, City Manager Stuart Bedenbaugh said Nov. 6 after the results were certified by the city’s Municipal Election Commission.

Michael Loftus, chair of the Aiken Municipal Election Commission, said four provisional ballots were added to the election’s totals, but the final result remains the same.

Lessie Price was reelected, and Peter Messina, Barbara Morgan and Braylen Waldo were elected to replace Ed Girardeau, Andrea Gregory and Ed Woltz, each of whom announced in the summer that they weren’t seeking reelection.

Bedenbaugh said one vote was added to Price’s total and three votes were added to Morgan’s total.
