The Celebrity Traitors final has broken viewership records for BBC as Alan Carr asked ‘what have I become’ following his victory.

Popular comedian Alan burst into tears when he revealed that he was a traitor to faithfuls comedian Nick Mohammed and historian David Olusoga in Thursday night’s (November 6) finale.

Moments before this, rugby star Joe Marler was banished after Nick and David became suspicious of him saying sorry to traitor Cat Burns, who was working with Alan.

Speaking in a talking head after winning £87,500 for children's cancer charity Neuroblastoma UK, Alan said: “All that lying was worth it, all that money is going to them, they are a wonderful charity.

“What a roller coaster, maybe I do exaggerate a showbiz story but it was tough lying to people.”
