A crash has occurred on the Devon-Somerset border this afternoon causing traffic to queue.

The crash happened on the A358 Chard Road in Alston, just south of Chard, and has left the road blocked in both directions.

Traffic is queuing from South Common Lane (Alston) to Broom Lane (Tytherleigh).

The collision was logged on traffic monitoring site Inrix today (November 7) at 3.48pm. It reads: "A358 Chard Road in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to accident from South Common Lane (Alston) to Broom Lane (Tytherleigh)."
