We have a nice and warm start to the weekend in store, as temperatures will be in the 70s, not as windy, and lows in the 50s. Changes will arrive on Sunday as a cold front will bring in a few showers and an isolated thunderstorm. With temperatures in the 70s and nearing 80°F, some storms could be on the strong side. Though the severe threat is low, we will keep an eye on storms that might be strong.
Once the front passes by Monday, we turn cold and breezy with temperatures falling to the 40s and 50s as highs. Overnight lows hold in the 20s and 30s, with wind chills in the 20s. That will create a freeze and frost threat into early Tuesday morning, as this cold will impact any sensitive plants and vegetation. Make sure to protect any late-season blooms Monday night.
Heading into mid-to-lat
