A $1 million New York State Lottery prize is about to expire because nobody has yet come forward with the winning ticket.

The New York Lottery announced on Friday that an unclaimed prize-winning ticket worth $1 million that was sold in Nassau County on Long Island will expire next month.

The Mega Millions second prize-winning ticket was sold at Cold Cut Express, located at 507 Dubois Ave. in Valley Stream.

The ticket is set to expire Dec. 13, 2025, a year after it was purchased.

The numbers for that Dec. 13, 2024, Mega Millions draw were 36-43-52-58-65. The Mega Ball number for the drawing was 16.

Prizes for winning lottery tickets can be claimed up to one year after the draw.
