GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A significant amount of firearms and narcotics, including fentanyl, were found during an investigation, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.
The department says it received a report of a stolen trailer in Norcross on Oct. 30. Flock license plate readers helped officers locate the trailer, which was attached to a vehicle associated with Doraville resident Matthew Davis.
Officers say they located the trailer at Davis' residence, where it had a different license plate.
A search warrant was obtained and executed on the residence, and during the search, officers say they recovered over 30 firearms, prescription narcotics, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. Credit: GCPD
