OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Thirteen months after announcing a big move to the city’s new RiverFront area , the Omaha Children’s Museum is putting a pin in its capital campaign.
Museum officials said in a news release Friday that they were pausing fund-raising for a new facility at Eighth and Douglas streets that the organization announced last October. Instead, the update says, the museum would remain in its current location, at 20th and Howard streets, and re-focus on “strengthening its core mission.”
