(AP/AZFamily) - The NCAA revoked the eligibility of six men’s college basketball players for sports betting on Friday in three separate cases, including a former Arizona State University player.
Chatton “BJ” Freeman, who played with the Sun Devils for the 2024-25 season, was among six players listed in the probe. The senior guard was dismissed from the team earlier this year following a turbulent stretch, according to ESPN .
The NCAA Committee on Infractions released findings from an enforcement investigation that concluded players Cedquavious Hunter, Dyquavian Short, Jamond Vincent, Donovan Sanders, Alvin Stredic and Freeman manipulated their performances to ensure certain prop bets were won or provided information that enabled others to do so during the 2024-25 regular season.
