A 22-year-old Northville man has pleaded guilty to two sexual assault charges for portraying himself as a 16-year-old and having encounters with a 14-year-old girl in Roseville.
Charles L. Willis entered pleas Thursday to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in Macomb County Circuit Court in exchange for dismissal of two first-degree criminal sexual assault charges, one count of child sexual abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime, under a plea deal with prosecutors.
The two first-degree charges that will be dismissed carry a penalty of up to life in prison while the third-degree charges are punishable by up to 15 years behind bars.
