Earlier this season Denver Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw received a one-game suspension after he chased down an NFL official and allegedly threatened him following the team's 33-32 victory over the New York Giants.

“The NFL issued the suspension for a violation of Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1(b), which prohibits ‘the use of abusive, threatening or insulting language or gestures to opponents, teammates, officials, or representatives of the League,’” the league said in a press release at the time. “After the conclusion of the Giants-Broncos game, Greenlaw chased after referee Brad Allen and verbally threatened him as he tried to leave the field."

The suspension might not be the only punishment for Greenlaw this season if a former Kansas City Chiefs star is correct.
