BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed’s pass late in the first quarter at Notre Dame Stadium was nothing special.
Wide receiver Mario Craver went in motion behind the line and curled out around a linebacker on a simple wheel route. Reed, on the run to his left, whipped his wrist and floated a 10-yard pass out to Craver in some space.
Such unremarkable beginnings spawned one of the most memorable plays of the season for the Aggies, showcasing the transfer receiver’s uncanny ability to wiggle out of tackles and create explosive plays.
